..:: AI and AI-assisted tools  ::..

AI and AI-assisted tools do not qualify for authorship under our authorship policy. Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and scientific quality of their manuscripts. Our journal permits the limited use of generative AI and AI-assisted tools in the preparation of manuscripts, including language editing and proofreading, brainstorming and idea development, limited drafting of abstracts or other non-substantive text elements, as well as the generation of figures or graphical materials strictly based on the author’s original concept, interpretation, and scientific supervision. The use of AI or AI-assisted tools must not replace the authors’ own intellectual contribution, critical analysis, interpretation, or scientific judgment. Any use of generative AI or AI-assisted tools must be fully disclosed in a declaration placed at the end of the manuscript. Authors must clearly indicate the name of the tool(s) used, the purpose and scope of their use, and the extent of human supervision and verification. Authors are solely responsible for reviewing, correcting, and validating all AI-generated or AI-assisted content prior to submission and must declare their full responsibility for the final version of the manuscript.
